The hall measures approx. 11 x 16 metres with a maximum capacity of 150 persons although we recommend 130 as a comfortable maximum. If you are having a dance floor in the centre you can only fit in 13 tables, each seating 8 comfortably or 10 at a squeeze. This is further limited if you have a serving/buffet table at the back or the guests need access to the bar and kitchen serving hatches (see bottom photos). There are 180 chairs, 22 x 6' tables and 4 x 4' tables available for your use. You can hire in your own tables/chairs if you prefer.

There's a raised stage area measuring 11 x 5 metres, plus a backstage area with toilets. The Hall has its own annual Music Licence. The bar area measures 5 x 3.75 metres and contains 2 fridges, a sink and drainer and plenty of shelving. If you are selling alcohol you have to apply for a Temporary Event Notice (click here for the Thurrock Council page). The ceiling in the hall is high enough to take a Bouncy Castle.

The fully fitted kitchen measures 6.5 x 3.5 metres. It contains a double sink, a microwave and plenty of work surfaces. The gas cooker has 5 rings, 2 ovens and a separate grill and is serviced annually. There are two fridge/freezers. There is a very small and basic selection of crockery and cutlery, but no oven pans, dishes or cooking utensils are provided. You must bring your own supply of cleaning products and cloths, and must provide your own black sacks for rubbish.

The light and airy meeting room measures approx. 4 x 5 metres and has plenty of tables and chairs and a whiteboard. It's not included in the main hall hire but you can hire this out in addition to the main hall if you want to. It's quite nice to use as a place to lay out food, or as a quieter area for people to use if you are having a party.

There are separate men's, ladies' and disabled toilets. All have soap dispensers and hand driers, and toilet tissue is provided. The ladies' toilet has a baby changing table.
